Computational Performance of Group 4 Personnel in Vocational Training Programs

Abstract

The investigation concerns an evaluation of the performance of Navy Group IV personnel on limited sets of task-related computational operations. Training was tailored to the trainee's level of academic skill and courses were taught within the context of vocational training programs covering linear measurement and recipe conversion. Performance was evaluated both in terms of test score gains and skill level achievement.
