A Report on Merger of the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard.

Abstract

The report is the result of a comprehensive study which examined the full spectrum of advantages as well as disadvantages of the following alternatives: (1) Merging the Air Force Reserve into the Air National Guard; (2) merging the Air National Guard into the Air Force Reserve; and (3) retaining both the Air National Guard and the Air Force Reserve.
