Engineering of Quality Software Systems (Effects of Management Philosophy on Software Production).

Abstract

This paper examines, from a managerial viewpoint, the effects of programming group organization on both the people in the group and on the software thus produced. In particular, Weinberg's suggestions of 'egoless' programming and 'democratic' programming teams are discussed.
