Abstract
The report contains research in different areas of dentistry. These areas include: Effort being made in preventive dentistry; continued evaluation, characterization and development of dental materials; the applications of new and versatile biodegradable materials to oral surgical procedures; simplified and improved means of controlling oral infections; the continued evaluation of drugs; the evaluation of dental instrumentation; promising surgical procedures to be used in conjunction with the new biodegradable materials.
