Production Engineering Measure for Microwave Transistors Using Proton Enhanced Diffusion Technology.

Abstract

The purpose is to establish capability of manufacturing microwave transistors using proton enhanced diffusion technology on a production basis. Four types of transistors are to be manufactured; the principle distinguishing factor of the transistor types is the frequency of characterization. During the period, reporting the engineering phase of the contract was completed with the delivery of the third and last engineering sample. Other work has been directed to preparation for the First Article run, including putting together a Test Plan, Reliability testing, and PED process final optimization.
