Abstract

The report contains a summary of the work done during the period September 15, 1962, to September 30, 1974, under the grants indicated. The research was concerned with the following areas: the numerical solution of partial differential equations; computational problems in linear algebra; numerical accuracy; the numerical solution of polynomial and other nonlinear equations; and other areas.
