The Low Temperature Thermoelectric Cooler for Navy Use.

Abstract

The present feasibility of a thermoelectric cooler for infrared devices that would attain a low temperature of about 100 K is discussed. Maximum allowed input power was 5000 watts. Limitations that result from present thermoelectric materials are quantified.
