A Graphic Display System for Interactive Simulation.

Abstract

This thesis describes the design and implementation of a real-time multiprogrammed operating system that efficiently monitors and controls an interactive graphic simulation system. The system software design for the dynamic man-machine interactive system interfaces the human decision-making process with the computer's data-handling capabilities. For the purposes of this investigation the real-world environment is simulated. The system is implemented on a Honeywell H-316/S50 minicomputer/display configuration.
