Two-Electron Laser Transition in Sn(I).

Abstract

A new laser oscillation has been observed in a pulsed discharge of He and SnCl4. This oscillation at 1.061 micrometers corresponds to the (5s)5p3 triplet D(1) to (5s)2(5p)(6p) triplet P(2) transition in Sn(I).
