Gamma-Ray and Proton Radiolysis of Solid Inorganic Ionic Salts with Complex Anions,

Abstract

The radiochemical stability of azides and perchlorates of alkali metals under the action of gamma-radiation and of nitrates, azides, and perchlorates of alkali metals during irradiation with 4.7 MeV protons is studied. During gamma-irradiation the distraction of the anions was shown to depend on free volume and energy of crystal lattice.
