PLZT (Light Valve Projector Display).
Abstract
The objectives of this program were to investigate the electro-optic, dielectric, and piezoelectric properties of various PLZT compositions as they relate to display devices. Two PLZT compositions were studied to determine their display related characteristics: 7/65/35, and 12/40/60. Large and small grain samples were investigated. The results of this investigation showed that none of these PLZT compositions were suitable for multiformat displays.
