Determination of Design Verification Program Center of Buoyancy for Balloon System SN 104.
Abstract
This technical report presents the theory, test data, and test data analyses related to the determination of a Family IID-7A, SN 204, center of buoyancy. The report develops the test data and data analyses into a presentation of Balloon SN 204 center of buoyancy as a function of balloon ballonet fullness and balloon pitch angle. The results so developed are applicable to the assessment of Family IID-7A balloon system dynamic response while in-flight; and are necessary for all weight/balance and moment determination.
