TI 2520 Simulator.

Abstract

The thesis provides the Air Force Avionics Laboratory with a simulator for the TI 2520 avionics computer. The simulator was written in a higher order language (FORTRAN) in order to increase the transferability of the simulator as AFAL wished to use the simulator on many different computer systems. The thesis provides the user four features to aid in debugging his programs. First, the user can trace every instruction or only specified instructions. Secondly, he can dump portions of the pseudo-memory. Third, boundaries can be set within the pseudo-memory to allow the user to detect areas from which he is reading or to which he is writing. Finally, a command is promised to allow the user to stop his simulation.
