Asymmetric Grain Evaluation Computer Program (User's Manual).
Abstract
The computer program described herein is the solution of the burning sequence for any generalized two-dimensional solid propellant grain cross section, defined as a singly performated, internally burning but otherwise arbitrary contour. Both the internal grain configuration and burning rate field may be specified at discrete locations throughout the two-dimensional field. The burning rate fields are specified in tabular form and are directly relatable to a burn time. The geometry of the motor case may be circular, elliptical, or any arbitrary configuration defined by a set of coordinate points. All boundaries, interfaces, etc., are described as the sum of straight-line segments connecting adjacent coordinate points. The numerical treatment of adjacent cross sections to determine burning area and subsequent ballistics is not within the scope of this program.
