Abstract

The report presents an overview of the NTMS development program, high-lights the relevant human factors engineering technology, and recommends a preliminary NTMS human factors R and D program. This program is categorized by (1) personnel factors, (2) human factors and engineering data interface, (3) human engineering of NTMS, (4) information technology and perceptual learning, and (5) man-machine system performance.
