Some Mechanical Properties of Phase Separated Pd(.74)Au(.08)Si(.18) Metallic Glasses.

Abstract

The effect of phase separation and crystallization of glassy Pd(.74)Au(.08)Si(.18) on its tensile behavior, fracture strength, hardness and fracture morphology has been investigated. The results are discussed in terms of the dilation mechanism for flow.
