A Method of Determining Inflammability of Explosives

Abstract

The article deals with various thermodynamic parameters during combustion of igniters, pyroxline and ammonium nitrate, used in small manometric and calorimeter bombs. Parameters for heat, pressure, condensation and water evaporation resulting from combustion are presented in theoretical and experimental form. The critical ammounts of igniter and use of different explosive mixtures are discussed.
