Abstract

The book covers the structure and physical, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties of foamed plastics, structures with foamed plastic cores and manufacturing technology of foamed plastics. Examples are given of using foamed plastics for aircraft structures. Separate chapters are devoted to special features of strength calculation of structures with foamed plastic cores and test methods for such structures.
