The Effect of Notch Geometry on the Charpy Impact Strength of Certain Thermoplastics.

Abstract

The effect of notch geometry on the Charpy impact strength of five commercially produced thermoplastics has been studied. ISO and standard UK type notches have been compared and tentative conclusions drawn.
