An Algol Computer Program for Drawing Graphs.

Abstract

An ALGOL computer program is described which calculates the axes scales and positions to suit the input data, and then draws the graph on a digital plotter. The axes labels and graph title are read as strings and are printed in appropriate positions on the graph. The input format, analysis and output of data may be easily modified to suit individual requirements. Examples of the use of program for plotting dynamic-mechanical results and stress/time data are given.
