Investigation of Non-Linear Propagation and Chirping of CO2 Lasers.

Abstract

Research is summarized on non-linear propagation of CO2 laser radiation (10.6 micrometer wavelength) in absorbing and amplifying media, the generation and propagation of mode locked CO2 laser radiation, and the chirping or frequency sweeping of CO2 laser pulses.
