Resolution Space, Networks and Non-Self-Adjoint Spectral Theory.

Abstract

Research directed at the application of modern non-self-adjoint spectral theory to formulate firm foundations and generalizations of the frequency domain methods classically used by network and system designers is reviewed. Specific applications considered include a generalized Nyquist criterion, analysis and synthesis of stochastic networks and systems, transmission line networks with feedback, and network design.
