Variable Architecture Multiprocessor (VAMP) - As an Emulator.

Abstract

The use of AFIT's Variable Architecture Multiprocessor (VAMP) as an emulator is investigated. Several hardware and firmware modifications which either correct deficiencies in the present system or enhance its emulation capabilities are synthesized. A general set of guidelines for using VAMP as an emulator is then developed. This general treatment is finally followed by an implementation example for the HP 2108.
