Organolanthanides and Organoactinides Related to Catalysis.

Abstract

This report deals with a new class of organolanthanide and organoactinide complex, those which contain sigma-bonded ligands. The syntheses and properties are described for these new complexes. The question of f orbital involvement in the bonding of both lanthanide and actinide complexes is discussed in view of the data which has been obtained thus far.
