Proceedings of Symposium on the Effect of the Ionosphere on Space Systems and Communications (1975), Held at Arlington, Va. on January 20-22 1975.

Abstract

Papers primarily dealing with ionospheric scintillation are presented. Topic areas include: High altitude morphology; spectra of amplitude and phase scintillation; amplitude and fade statistics for equatorial scintillations; holographic radio camera technique for studying ionospheric inhomogeneities; electron and ion density studies; Faraday rotation and angle of arrival measurements; and solar cycle variations of the total electron content at low latitude.
