Acquisition of Climatic Data During Transportation and Storage of Containers

Abstract

The purpose of the studies was to collect data on the conditions of temperature and humidity inside of various containers during shipment and/or storage. The information collected was used as an indication of the effectiveness of the packaging against the environment and as a guide to improved packaging methods. The data were collected with a small, portable, battery operated temperature/humidity recorder placed inside the various containers under study.
