Fluidic Signal Generator with Independent Bias Pressure Control.

Abstract

A fluidic signal generator with independent bias pressure control has been built and tested. This signal generator uses a dc torque motor-flapper valve assembly to effect a differential pressure output and a vacuum (aspirator) or a positive pressure source, to control the bias pressure level. The analytical prediction and the test results indicate that this signal generator can produce an ac pressure signal that rides on either a positive or negative bias pressure.
