Aircrew Restraint System - Design Criteria Evaluation

Abstract

The objective of this program was to analyze, design, fabricate, and test an aircrew restraint system meeting the requirements of the proposed military specification. The development approach established was to make maximum use of existing hardware. The intent of the overall effort was to modify and refine the specification as necessary to define the requirements for an optimum restraint system that could be fabricated within the state of the art.
