Relative Importance of Precision and Fidelity Criteria in Dosages of Trace Elements (Importance Relative des Criteres de Prevision et de Fidelite Dans le Dosage des Elements de Traces),

Abstract

The paper discusses the relationship between accuracy and reproducibility. The question of whether 30 rather precise analyses or only one almost perfect analysis is most valuable is developed. It is concluded in this paper that the search for reproducibility should be placed before the search for accuracy. In fact, better reproducibility means an easy comparison of results between them this might lead to the establishment of geochemical laws.
