A System Safety Program for Natick Laboratories.

Abstract

The report contains a proposed system safety program for implementation at Natick Laboratories, an AMC Research and Development Organization. In addition to a proposed local regulation implementing the system safety program, there is an in-depth presentation of the organization and analyses required for its operation. System safety requirements of the Department of Defense, Department of Army and Army Materiel Command are stressed throughout the report. All levels of management are covered, but, special emphasis is placed upon the role of the system safety engineer.
