A Problem in Operational Management of Research and Development,

Abstract

The authors present an algorithm for the optimal planning and management of scientific-research projects, based on finding the extremum of a certain functional and comparing the optimal planned volume of work with the actual volume at discrete instants of time, and taking appropriate managerial measures to complete the projects by a given deadline.
