Production of Ceramic Construction Materials,

Abstract

The entire scope of production of ceramic products for construction is discussed. Information is presented on the various processes involved in getting the clay out of the ground and to the plant, in processing different types of clays and nonplastic materials, and in turning out different types of finished products of it. Various types of machines used in the production of ceramic products are described, along with operating instructions, possible malfunctions and methods for eliminating them. Information is also included on safety practices and establishment of output standards and wage scales.
