Evaluation of Slide-Tape Lecture Programs Used in Aero Laboratories.

Abstract

Overcrowded conditions, unavoidable absence, and the lack of standardization in a course can detract from the learning experience. In an attempt to solve these problems, fully automatic slide-tape programs have been developed for use in the gasdynamics laboratory course. In order to improve these lecture packages, the students have been asked to evaluate them. A significant portion of this research is devoted to the development of a detailed questionnaire to sample student reaction to the slide-tape lecture format.
