Lady Soldiers in the 1970's.

Abstract

The study examines the status of Woman's Army Corps (WAC) enlisted personnel in the Army Reserve system; recruiting, training, career management are discussed. Progress evaluations are made as of the end of each fiscal year (F/Y) with a view of determining the overall WAC enlisted status at the end of F/Y 1974. The study attempts to answer the question whether the program is moving in the right direction to provide a positive boost to the reserve program.
