Martial Law Philippine Style New Era in US-Philippines Relations.

Abstract

In the year 1974, a long period of so-called special relations between the United States and the Philippines came to an end. The question as to what course these relations will follow in the coming years remains to be answered. The history of the long and unique interdependence of the two countries was examined, to highlight the growth of both bonds and irritants which will remain an influence on these relations.
