Content Analysis of Survey Feedback Meetings: An Evaluation Tool

Abstract

Two coding schemes were developed and subjected to preliminary analyses. The Behavior Classification Scheme (BCS) included eleven behavior and four speaker categories which were used to code each problem-solving input made during a survey feedback meeting. The Summary Rating Scheme (SRS) included several survey questions regarding the feedback meeting which coders answered after listening to an entire meeting. The analyses performed suggest that the two schemes are feasible tools for documenting what transpires during survey feedback sessions.
