Feasibility Study of a Precision Cast Loading Machine for Small Ammunition Items

Abstract

A concept of a mechanized technique to load molten explosive into small ammunition items under controlled conditions has been established. Concept proveout through explosive loading studies with mock-ups that simulate the process and techniques was substantiated in part.
