Development of a Methodology for Improving Repair Parts Support to Army Units.

Abstract

The US Army Logistics Center (LOGC) has established a Repair Parts Program with the objective 'to improve repair parts support for the Army in the intermediate and future time frames which will result in increased readiness of equipment and units.' The purpose of this report was to assess the past and current repair parts study program and to provide the LOGC with a recommended program of study and actions to improve repair parts supply operations with emphasis on the study requirements for the wartime and transition to wartime environments.
