Artificially Induced Sporadic E.

Abstract

Ionospheric disturbances induced by chemical releases from high altitude rockets were monitored by Digisonde and Doppler-drift observations. The ionogram recordings provide the basic information on the ionospheric layers in terms of vertical electron density profiles. The Doppler-drift observations lead to the determination of the ionospheric structure and drifts.
