Experimental Investigation of Several Wraparound Fins on Bodies of Revolution from Mach 0.3 to 1.3.

Abstract

A wind tunnel test was conducted for several wraparound fin configurations on bodies of revolution at Mach numbers ranging from 0.3 to 1.3. Aerodynamic forces and moments were measured by five strain gage balances. A complete listing of the summary data is presented in tabular form.
