A Research Study of the Rotary Wing Test and Evaluation Segments at the Naval Air Test Center, Patuxent River, Maryland.

Abstract

This study examined the organizational and aircraft maintenance problems of the rotary wing segments within the organizations at the Naval Air Test Center, Patuxent River, Maryland. A static and dynamic analysis was conducted, a model of a consolidated rotary wing organization constructed, and a questionnaire distributed, collected, and evaluated to determine the attitudes of various NATC personnel groups, military and civilian, toward pertinent issues. A critical analysis was also conducted of the new NATC mission-oriented directorate organization scheduled for implementation on 1 Apr 1975.
