Investigation into Anomalous Behavior of Gun Mount Gas Ejection Air Supply on Some DE 1052/1078 Class Vessels,

Abstract

This report presents the results of a program conducted to identify, define, and correct a problem reported to be occuring in the fleet. The equipment investigated was the air pressure reducing manifold manufactured by the Grove Valve and Regulator Co. and installed on the ships of the DE 1052/1078 Class built by Avondale Shipyard.
