Transient Radiated Fields from Rectangular Apertures.

Abstract

The subject of transient electromagnetic fields has received considerable attention in recent years primarily due to the impetus provided by activities in the area of emp phenomenology. In this report, a simple theoretical model will be assumed whereby the transient electromagnetic horn is viewed as merely capturing a rectangular constant-solid-angle section of an expanding spherical wave.
