Crystal Growth and Magnetic Anisotrophy of Copper Ferrite (CuFe2O4).

Abstract

This report examines some of the basic crystalline properties of single crystal copper ferrite. Crystal growth of single crystal copper ferrite at Stanford and by other investigators is reviewed. Ferromagnetic resonance experiments on crystals grown at low temperatures gave evidence of magnetic anisotropy (with tetragonal symmetry).
