Program BTREPORT.
Abstract
This program is part of a thermal structure package developed for Fleet Weather Central, Rota, Spain and provides the capability to incorporate sea-surface temperatures and mixed-layer depth observations required by other programs in the package. The observations are extracted from unedited radio messages of the baththermograph (BT) logs received by FWC, Rota and may be a mixture of both the new log JJXX format and the old 'shipname bathy' format. BTREPORT reads the BT card deck, extracts the desired information, and stores the LAT., LONG., I,J,SST and MLD on the history tape for access by MEDMLD and MEDSST.
