Cellular Viability, Metabolism and Growth Kinetics During Hyperthermia in the Physiological Range.

Abstract

A study of the effect of a 12-hour incubation at 40.5C on population growth, mitotic index, cell viability and rate of incorporation of 3H-thymidine into DNA, 3H-leucine into protein, and inorganic 32P into high energy nucleotides is presented. A summary of results of this investigation is given.
