Apparatus for Electrical Resistivity Measurements on Flash Diffusivity Samples,

Abstract

A modified four-probe method has been developed which is suitable for measuring the electrical resistivity of thin round disk-shaped samples, such as are used for thermal diffusivity measurements by the widely-used flash method. The technique is shown to be applicable from 100 to 700K on a variety of materials including metals, alloys, and graphites. (Author)
