Transferred-Electron-Device (TED) Technology Impact Study.
Abstract
The objective of the overall program reviewed in the report was the assessment of the impact of a new technology - that of signal processing by means of transferred-electron devices (TEDs) - on a particular class of systems of interest to the U.S. Navy. This volume contains the findings of the first task; it describes the state-of-the-art of transferred electron devices used for signal processing purposes, and it provides projections of short-range progress in the device and system technologies.
