Water Reuse in the United States.

Abstract

The report presents background information on water reuse. The pertinent aspects of water reuse are listed as well as the Environmental Protection Agency's policy statement. The problems of viruses and bacteria in water systems are discussed. Also discussed are chemicals that cannot be easily removed which may adversely affect humans. Recommendations are made for public health protection in the use of treated water.
