The Air Force Weapons Laboratory Skid Resistance Research Program, 1969- 1974

Abstract

A summary is presented of research done on airfield pavement skid resistance at the Air Force Weapons Laboratory during the years 1969-1974. Included are a description of the standard skid resistance evaluation procedures developed by the Weapons Laboratory, a summary of information gained from study of skid-resistance data from some 14 airfields.
